Who are the Friends of KPJA?
The Friends of Kettering Park Junior Academy (KPJA) are a registered charity dedicated to supporting the school through fundraising activities that enhance the education, wellbeing and experiences of all pupils.
Families, staff and children work together as a school community to organise a variety of events and activities throughout the year. Funds raised help provide additional resources, equipment and opportunities for pupils, with recent fundraising focused on improving the school's outdoor play areas.
Fundraising Events
Throughout the year, the Friends of KPJA organise a range of enjoyable events for the school community, including:
- School discos
- Raffles
- Craft fairs
- Murder mystery evenings
- Winter Wonderland celebrations
Our annual Winter Wonderland is a particularly popular event and a true community effort. Children contribute by creating calendars and other festive crafts which are sold on the stalls, helping to raise valuable funds for the school.
How Can You Help?
We are always pleased to welcome new volunteers, ideas and support from parents, carers, grandparents and friends of the school.
There are many ways you can get involved, including:
- Helping at fundraising events
- Supporting the planning and organisation of activities
- Sharing ideas for new events and initiatives
- Offering occasional support when you are available
You do not need to make a regular commitment. Any help, however big or small, is greatly appreciated.
